Blogging on Facebook by a Twit.

I've been too distracted lately to mess much with the social networking stuff. I wasn't sure what services I should use, but Facebook and Twitter both appear to be too firmly entrenched to go away anytime soon. Facebook is flawed, but almost everyone uses it, so it is hard to ignore. Twitter has been having problems keeping its site running. People will turn to another service if it doesn't right the ship in the next year. So what is on the horizon? I don't know. But I would be shocked if the landscape of social networking isn't dramatically different five years from now, when everyone will be carrying around an advanced smart phone and/or an Ipad type device.
