My hard drive crashed. As in, crashed and the data is unrecoverable as the reading mechanism stopped working. Not the worst thing that has ever happened to me, but let's just say I am none too happy. Luckily I backed up quite a few files several months ago when the hard drive first started to act up. But I hadn't had any significant problems recently, so I foolishly hadn't backed up anything in quite a while. Ack.
So I need anyone and everyone to send me their contact info-email address, mailing address, phone number--whatever is pertinent. I actually had my hotmail configured into a pop account, with all the email going to Eudora, meaning all those old emails were lost (can't remember if I backed up that inbox or not). Go ahead and email my hotmail account and I'll receive everything just fine.
I was waiting to buy a new computer until the new version of Windows became available early next year, or I wouldn't be having this problem. We opted for a cheap Dell system, which should tide me over until next year.
